What went well: Very well ran race again this year. Everything went smooth, no problems.
How to make job better: I think we need to devise a better way to engage the spectators around the course. Nobody know's who anybody is and nobody ever know's who's in the lead, breaks, or what is going on in general.
I know it's a complex issue, but having the rider list with team and bib#'s would help people like me. However, I really think major races should have a PA system that broadcasts the race action to the crowds around the course, not just at the start/finish.
Other comments: I didn't see how it ended up, but I felt that the snow fence on the southeast side of the start finish should have extended further to keep people from accidentally or otherwise stepping out on the course. It's the fastest and most dangerous area of the course.
